I'm Jennifer F., the breeder behind Tajen Labradors located in Flora, IN. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality puppies into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
When I was in veterinary school, my family adopted a chocolate lab. Ever since then I fell in love with the breed. They have such a great temperament and have blessed our family in so many ways. We are excited to share our love of the breed to others.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
