Why did you start breeding?
We started out with two Australian Shepherd boys 16 years ago. We named them Doc and Wyatt. We called them The Brudders! We fell in love with how intelligent, loyal and playful their personalities are! So that's when it all began!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are part of the family, they are the 4 legged children. Everyone here gets some special time. It may be a car ride, throwing a frisbee, watching television or a car ride or a ride on the polaris or just some snuggle time. Our focus here at Red Gate Farm is raising puppies with good temperaments and healthy loving puppies. Aussies are like potato chips, Its hard to have just one!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include red tri-color, black tri, red merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price guarantees, first round of vaccination, deworming and puppy socialization. Deposits are to hold a puppy for you. Deposits are non-refundable but can go toward another litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Tanya may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Jackson as a sweet cuddly puppy, he is very playful and loves to give you kisses! He is nine weeks old and ready to go to his new home. He will require a home with a fence yard. He has had a first vaccine and he has been on a regular worming schedule. He has had his eyes examined by optometrist. Both of his parents have had their health testing done! And both are champions.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
