We are very selective about the families who welcome one of our puppies into their home because we believe every puppy deserves a lifetime of love, safety, and the right environment. We take the time to learn about each potential family, their lifestyle, and what they are hoping for in a companion. We consider important factors such as whether there are children in the home, the ages and activity levels of family members, whether someone is retired or elderly, their experience with small breeds, and whether they are prepared for the special care that comes with owning a tiny Yorkshire Terrier or Maltese. Because our puppies are very small and require thoughtful care, we want to make sure families understand their unique needs, including proper handling, supervision, nutrition, grooming, training, and the importance of having a veterinarian who is experienced with toy breeds. We help guide families toward making sure they have access to appropriate veterinary care and understand the commitment involved in caring for such a precious companion. Our goal is not simply to find homes for our puppies — it is to find the right forever family for each individual puppy. We take into consideration the puppy’s personality, temperament, and needs when helping determine the best match. We want every puppy to be placed where they can thrive and become a cherished member of the family.
