I'm Jennifer Y., the breeder behind Tawodi Hills located in Seneca, SC. We strive to produce puppies that adhere to the breed standard and are exceptional in the home and on the farm. We love our dogs! The first few weeks of a dog’s life are critical for their development, so we raise our puppies with lots of group and individual attention, plus the best socialization and care that we can provide. We want each of our puppies to be prepared for their new lives in their forever homes.
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
My family got our first aussie when I was 7 years old- and the rest is history 😉. "Ringo" was our first aussie and he chose me on the car ride home from the breeder's. That was it for me, I was hooked! I spent many years researching and owning aussies before beginning my breeding program.
What makes your program special?
I take pride in breeding dogs that are the best combination of healthy conformation with a mind for companionship, performance and working. Our breeding dogs are our family pets. They spend days with us out running the pastures and they have easy "off switches" when it's time to just settle down and hang out.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Jennifer was very responsive and knowledgeable about the breed. She always answered my questions and provided me with many photos and videos of my puppy before picking her up. She was able to meet halfway in D.C. and even after having puppy, if i still had questions or concerns she was able to answer them! Overall Jennifer is a wonderful breeder and I have recommended her many times to to friends and coworkers who are looking to add an Aussie to their home! My Stella is now six months and we have had her for almost four months now and I cant be happier and satisfied!

I have been researching places to get a pup for the past couple months. At one point I had 157 tabs open between my phone and computer trying to find the best breeder. I got in contact with several breeders and almost locked in with one. I ended up cancelling with the initial breeder and kept my search going. I stumbled across Jennifer's page and reached out to her about Buddy. She replied within 3 minutes and we got to talking.
Jennifer wanted to make sure that we were a good fit for him so i filled out the application and told her about myself. Once she determined we were a match we finalized everything through GoodDog. The process was really quick and easy. We then set up the pick up date 2 days after. I was going to drive from Maryland to South Carolina but Jennifer offered to meet me around North Carolina which saved me 2 hours of travel time. When I met up with Jennifer she was very kind and friendly but also serious. She made sure that I was well informed about Buddy and his demeanor, the commands that he knew, how to take care of him, food he's been eating and several other things. After that, Jennifer provided me with a Goody Bag which included Buddy's paperwork, registration, food, toys, blanket with moms scent and some treats. There's no doubt that Jennifer loves all the pups and that she is serious about what she does. Shes amazing!
When I took Buddy home he was comfortable in the crate, he knew leave it, sit, drop it and go potty. He even knew how to loose leash walk . I'm amazed by how great buddy is. Jennifer definitely does her job well and if I end up getting more room and a bigger yard. I would go back to her for another pup.
My experience was exceptional! Highly recommend
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
