I'm Teresa H., the breeder behind T~Bo Boston Terriers located in Evergreen, AL. T~Bo Kennels, Reg, established in 1995 as a small hobby kennel with a specific interest of breeding/showing Boston Terriers. T-Bo Boston's has an extremely high standard for our breeding program, while there is no perfect dog, we breed very selectively to meet the BTCA Standard not only for the breeding program but for the show ring! The Boston Terrier Standard was developed to give breeders a description of the ideal Boston. By breeding to the standard, we are ensuring that future generations will continue to look like Boston Terriers, which makes them stand apart. We have currently bred over 50 champions that are and have been owned/co-owned and by other owners-of which several are multiple All Breed Best in Show, Breed, Groups and Best in Specialty winners in both the United States and over in Europe. T~Bo's goal is to continually strive for excellence in heath by health testing, conformation, and for temperament of which we feel is all very important to our breed the Boston Terrier. Our dogs are all health tested for the following: OFA Patella's, BAER, CERF, JC DNA and I have started testing.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I purchased my first Boston and then after getting my first show dog I got into breeding as well as showing.

  • What makes your program special?

    The most important thing to us is that your puppy has excellent health. We make sure that both parents have undergone a variety of health testing and certifications to guarantee they do not carry any notable health problems and are registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. We want your Boston Terrier puppy to be part of your family for many years. We put a lot of thought and attention in the health, temperament, intelligence, wonderful movement, and beauty of the puppies.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

T~Bo Boston Terriers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boston Terriers.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
