I'm Teena D., the breeder behind Teenas Lhasa Apsos located in Santa Cruz, CA. We offer family’s the opportunity to love on the breed I love so much. They are whelped in our bedroom and raised in our house.
I try my best to preserve the Lhasa apso breed as it should be. They are raised in our bedroom and get real life experiences.
Q. & A. with Teena
Why did you start breeding?
I loved my dogs so much and I know the breed is endangered, I show to prove my dogs are the best of what’s available, and to preserve the breed and better it.
What makes your program special?
My lhasas are raised with puppy culture and have early stimulation to help them overcome fear faster. Lhasas are a pretty aloof breed to start with.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We Love Our Potato!
Getting our puppy from Teena was such a wonderful experience. From the start, she was warm, honest, and incredibly helpful. You can tell she truly cares about her dogs and takes pride in raising them with love and responsibility.
Our pup, Potato, is absolutely perfect. It’s clear that he was raised in a loving environment, and that made the transition into our home so smooth. Teena kept us updated with pictures and info along the way, which made the wait so exciting and comforting.
I highly recommend Teena to anyone looking for a breeder who genuinely loves what she does. Thank you for giving us our sweet Potato—we’re completely in love!
