Bernadette, mom
Maremma Sheepdog
About Bernadette
Bernadette is an essential part of our sustainable farming operation at Terra Vitae Farms. She is loyal calm and extremely maternal in all her interaction with livestock - with a special affinity for the youngsters. She is a people lover - and will roll over and snuggle with any stranger that is accomapanied by us - yet sound the alarm when someone uninvited comes too close to her " charges". She is poultry safe and has matured well . On top of that she is a ten in her structure and appearance. We have great hopes for the pups she helps produce for other homesteads looking to provide safety for their animals while being safe and flexible for all that is asked of them. We couldn't be happier with her!
Benny, dad
Maremma Sheepdog
About Benny
Benny is an amazing calm gentle guardian of all that is here on Terra Vitae Farms. He is gorgeous - yes - but way more important to us his temperment and work ethic is a 10 . He is happy with the tiniest little chick as we raise our meat birds - to large ruminent and even horses - should he end up with them along side his charges. He matured earlty - trustworthy at 9 months with poultry - that is important to us. We feel these pups will have every chance they need to follow in his lead.
