I'm Casey P., the breeder behind Terrasen Border Collies located in Groton, MA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and structure with a focus on excelling in performance and companion sports.
Q. & A. with Casey
Why did you start breeding?
When I was a kid my mom bred 2 litters of Goldens. When I got my first Border Collie I dreamt of breeding and helping to improve the breed. My first bitch only had one litter and it's been 14 years since they were born, but it's still always been a goal to produce sound, sane puppies that would excel at anything.
What makes your program special?
I put a lot of effort into my breeding choices. I do as many health checks as possible. I research pedigrees. I am a trainer by profession and love making sure that my puppies get the appropriate first experiences to help them become well-rounded adults that will fit nicely into their future homes.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
