I'm Jimmy V., the breeder behind The Village Rottweilers, The Frenchie Village located in Palmyra, PA. Our breeding program is founded on ethical practices, health-conscious selection, and a deep commitment to the long-term well-being of every puppy we raise. We carefully select our breeding dogs based on temperament, structure, and health testing to support strong, sound, and well-balanced litters.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In my beginning like in 1996, I developed a deep respect and admiration for the breed. Early in my career, I experienced both good and bad outcomes when purchasing dogs from other kennels. Those challenges taught me valuable lessons about quality, responsibility, and what it really takes to develop strong, healthy bloodlines.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are deeply committed to the Rottweiler and focus exclusively on improving the breed through careful selection, responsible breeding, and proper training. Every breeding decision is made with a clear purpose: to produce dogs with strong structure, stable temperament, and solid working ability.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jimmy

Jimmy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jimmy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our matching process is designed to ensure each puppy goes to the best possible home. We evaluate each puppy’s personality, activity level, and temperament as they develop, and we work closely with families to help match them with a puppy that fits their lifestyle, experience, and expectations. Our priority is creating a lifelong, successful bond between puppy and family.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes 1 year health guarantee with a contract, AKC registration, deworming, up to date of the vaccine, microchipped. A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. This deposit secures your selection and will be applied toward the total purchase price.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jimmy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Cystinuria Type 3, French Bulldog Type Risk Factor

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
