I'm Diamond C., the breeder behind Thee Puppy Lady🐾 located in Ellicott City, MD. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts. I am A Registered Nurse. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care and love. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Diamond
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I both always loved dogs since children. He’s into genealogy and merged that with his love and self taught knowledge of dogs. I am a Registered Nurse and mom of 4, so I naturally am a nurturer!
What makes your program special?
We do selective in house breeding. We are hobby breeders. No kennels or backyard breeding. NO home visits! All visits are at a mutual public location.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include seal brindle and white and black brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

It’s almost time to go home with new families. Take a minute to look over some important new pet information.
🐾 Boston Terriers are playful, smart, and full of energy, so you’ll want to be well-prepared before bringing your puppy home. Here’s a list of essential items for your Boston Terrier puppy:
🏡 Basic Home Setup
• Crate (appropriately sized, with divider to grow with puppy)
• Exercise pen or baby gates (to block off unsafe areas)
• Dog bed (washable, supportive, small breed size)
• Food & water bowls (stainless steel or ceramic, non-slip)
• ID tag & collar (lightweight, adjustable)
• Harness (Boston Terriers do better on a harness vs. collar for walking due to sensitive tracheas)
• Leash (4–6 ft standard leash)
🍖 Food & Treats
• High-quality puppy food (formulated for small breeds ex: Royal Canin & Hills)
• Training treats (soft, small, and healthy)
• Food storage container (to keep food fresh)
🧸 Toys & Enrichment
• Chew toys (for teething – rubber, rope, or nylon, like KONG or Nylabone)
• Puzzle toys (to engage their smart minds)
• Soft plush toys (for comfort & gentle play)
• Fetch toys (like small tennis balls – make sure size fits their small mouth)
🧼 Grooming & Cleaning
• Puppy shampoo (gentle, hypoallergenic)
• Brush (use during washes. Boston Terriers have short coats; a soft-bristle brush works)
• Nail clippers or grinder (for small breeds)
• Ear cleaner & cotton pads (to prevent buildup – Bostons can very get dirty ears quickly )
• Poop bags (lots of them!)
• Stain & odor remover (for house-training accidents)
🏥 Health & Safety
• Veterinarian contact info (set up first puppy exam/vaccinations; all our pups go home with distemper and bordatella & requires 2 week rebooster)
• Flea/tick & heartworm preventatives (as recommended by vet)
• Puppy toothbrush, nail filer, toothpaste (start dental care early)
• First aid kit (pet-safe supplies for small injuries)
📚 Training & Socialization
• Puppy training pads (for early potty training)
• Puppy training book or online course
• Car seat harness or carrier (for safe travel)
✨ Boston Terrier-specific tip: They’re prone to overheating and respiratory issues due to their short snouts. Always have:
• Cooling mat or portable fan for summer
• Sweater/jacket for colder months (they have thin coats)
✨Remember:
You can ALWAYS contact me for any questions or resource recommendations.
