I'm LaDean F., the breeder behind Thunder Mountain Elite Flat-Coat & Golden Retrievers located in Delta, CO. We breed healthy, show quality Flat-Coated and Golden Retrievers. We raise and train each one of our dogs in a loving family home. Our goal is to produce puppies that are capable of participating in sports and conformation, but that are also happy to be companionable, entertaining house dogs that enjoy quieter moments as well. We want our pups to be adaptable and thrive with their families wherever they are. We look forward to connecting with you!
Q. & A. with LaDean
Why did you start breeding?
I was born into a family that bred high-quality Shetland Sheepdogs. When shopping for my first show dog, I realized how hard it was to find good quality in my area and wanted to change that.
What makes your program special?
We do our best to follow all breeding standards set by the breeds society and AKC stipulations. We keep in contact with all our breeders we got our dogs from and in turn we try to keep in contact with all our buyers and help out with anything we can through the life of their puppy.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Flat-Coated Retriever puppies include liver and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
