Meet the breeder

I'm Kimberlee H., the breeder behind Tréad Tines Aussies located in Yoder, CO. We are a small breeder insuring that we can give all of our focus on our dogs and pups. Our dogs are raised as part of the family and in the middle of it all. They are raised around children, our other vaccinated dog and cats with room to run and play on the beautiful Eastern Colorado plains.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with Australian Shepherds when we got our first two Australian Shepherds and while we as a family have tried different breeds throughout the years, we always come back to Australian Shepherds.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a very small breeder who breeds for health and temperment to produce puppies who can be everyday companions or go into a dog show as well. We strive on very few litters so as to give all puppies, mom and our others our attention. Our moms are our first priority when deciding to breed or not. If we dont feel they are ready than we will not plan a litter for her!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black & white, red & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kimberlee

Kimberlee has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kimberlee partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We try our best to match puppies with their best fit! We do however take buyers considerations for a specific puppy as well amd we do assess temperments as well!”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes registration paperwork, first vaccinations, deworming, a health guarantee, an 30 days trupanion for home insurance. Our puppies are listed at the same price regardless of color, or sex, and includes microchip, registration paperwork.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kimberlee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Our experience with Kimberlee and our new little Aussie boy Sage couldn't have been better! She was very responsive to all our many questions and provided complete and honest answers as well as lots of photos and videos. He came to us just beautiful and clearly well taken care of and socialized. In addition, at just eight weeks of age he is fearless of the vacuum cleaner, meets all our visitors with a wag, and is sleeping through the night with no accidents! He has already been accepted by our other dogs and - for the most part - by our cat. Sage's favorite activities are to romp around the yard, play tug-of-war and race through his puppy tunnel!
