I'm Shannon K., the breeder behind Vandruff Creek Mini Dachshunds located in Osage, OK. Hi! I’m Shannon! Our dogs are raised in our home and get loved on continuously by our kids. All dogs are exposed to little kids, cats, other dogs, and the great outdoors! We take pride in the wonderful personalities of our dogs and love to share that love to other families through our puppies!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My parents allowed me to breed my precious Hazy a couple of times before I left for college. That lit a fire within me and I knew from then on that once I had my own family, I would return to breeding dachshunds! Fun Fact: one of my current momma dogs is a descendent of Hazy!!

  • What makes your program special?

    Here at VC we focus on temperament, family orientation, and health. Our dogs are raised in our home and usually birthed right in my lap if I’m being honest 🥰 We would love if you consider us as your breeder!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Shannon made the process of bringing our puppy home seamless. She started sending photos and updates weekly from the time we secured our pup until we picked him up. We drove from KC to OK to get him. It ended up being later at night than we planned but Shannon was very understanding and accommodating. Right away we could tell he had been training some on puppy pads, she even thought ahead to give us a couple for our long drive home. We would 100% recommend Vandruff Creek.
