Due Mar. 2027
I'm Shauna T., the breeder behind Velveteen Bostons located in Lexington, SC. I offer Boston Terrier puppies that may range in color but are mostly seal, seal brindle, or brindle with white. My puppies are house raised, handled often, well socialized, and litter box trained. They receive their vaccines at 8 weeks of age, have regular dewormings, and are started on NexGard.

Making a hen friend… it’s important to socialize and introduce puppies to new sounds, people, car rides, nail trims, etc as well as other pets. My puppies are safely introduced to our feather friends early on. This is a great way for me to learn who has high prey drive and who could care less so I can further introduction and allow them to learn these live chickens are our friends and to be gentle with them. This can be helpful in making sure families bring home a puppy that is the best fit for them and their other furry or feathered friends. Although Freddy is barking at this hen from one side of the fence he’s totally cool when he’s on the same side as her, but does like to sometimes play a good game of “Tag! You’re it!” with them, which the hens usually instigate and this is perhaps the reason he is so excited to see her. Hannibal and Pugsly are curious but not as interested in playing with her the way Freddy is.

Norman got his last snuggle in the cuddle puddle this morning after a good breakfast and some play time. Then we were off to go meet his mama. Daddy Cletus rode along to keep him company. He’s got the best mama! I’m so excited for them both!

Shauna was so amazing to work with! She is very knowledgeable about Boston Terriers and is great in transitioning puppies from her care. She sent our puppy with food, a blanket, toys, and top-notch documentation of vet/vaccine records as well as microchip information and AKC information. I would highly recommend Shauna! She made our experience fantastic.

I had a great experience dealing with Shauna. Great communication throughout the entire experience. I loved the fact that she cares so much about her puppies. This was a new experience for me in my search for a new puppy and Shauna not only make it easy for but also a pleasurable experience. And my little boy Spike that she sent me was better than advertised. He has been unbelievable and I can't thank Shauna enough because you can see that he was raised with a lot of love.

Biggie is doing wonderful. He is the most loving little guy and has taken to our daughter as his human and she couldn’t be more proud to be a puppy mom. Thank you for our handsome lil guy.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
