Meet the breeder

I'm Susan C., the breeder behind VENGREY Corgis located in Wyoming. My purpose behind breeding the few litters that I do is to produce sound healthy dogs that have the true Corgi temperament as described by the American Kennel Club. We believe that the Corgi should be a healthy loving gentle and a great companion. My program is intended for the betterment of the breed so temperament, soundness, health, and longevity is our highest priority.

Why did you start breeding?
My dad starting raising Mink and we needed a dog that was small enough to run underneath the cages to chase the mink that got loose. And a friend of mine's Aunt, was giving away one of her Male corgis, So i was then introduced to Pembroke Welsh Corgis. I began to really like this breed of dog, and so I started researching and contacted breeders and studying pedigrees the temperaments and structures within the years of building friendships between breeders, I was finally competent enough to start my own breeding program.
What makes your program special?
With health and temperament being the highest priorities, all my dogs are tested, if they don't pass, we don't breed.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
