Vesper Australian Shepherds

Jennie W.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Jennie W., the breeder behind Vesper Australian Shepherds located in Georgia. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.

Q. & A. with Jennie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents bred Samoyeds when I was growing up and my grandparents bred dachshunds so it runs in the family, I have always loved and enjoyed purbred dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Have spent many hours with foundation breeders who have helped to mentor and educate the breeding of well rounded pedigrees with wonderful temperaments. Puppies are raised on our beautiful farm and are exposed to a variety of livestock, noises and people so they will be well socialized individuals. Have handled many bred-by dogs to their AKC/ASCA Championships and have performance dogs as well.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
