I'm Flores, the breeder behind VHF located in Reno, NV. We breed well-rounded dogs for work and for responsible companion homes. Our dogs excel in a variety of fields. We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed wherever they are needed, as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.

Getting a puppy from Flores

Flores has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Flores partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Parent health testing

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    I adopted a female Rottweiler Pup from Vom Haus Flores August of 2025. We named her Cardinal and my grandchildren call her Cardi D. She is such a great addition to our family! She is 1year old now and we love her very much! I had look at Rottweiler pups in Northern Cal, Southern Cal and in Texas. When I first saw Cardinal, I immediately knew she was the one I wanted to have as a new member of our family! She is about 79 pounds and very strong. She keeps our property safe and only barks if there are strangers around our yard. We had another Rottweiler for over 11years. I thought we could never replace her, but Cardi has filled our hearts! I highly recommend Flores Pups! In my opinion Hector has been a great person to work with and knows how to raise good pups. I wish I would have known about Hector Flores a long time ago.

    Flores was amazing getting our beautiful boy here to Idaho. Malachi gives my other ROTT Mozart a hard time, chases chickens around the farm but never hurts the chickens. Malachi has not been introduced to the cattle or horses yet, but with is temperament he will be just fine! He is VERY SMART! Also, Flores Responded quickly to all questions and I cannot say enough great things about the whole experience! MALACHI IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!
