Meet the breeder

I'm Christina M., the breeder behind vom Blaurasen Rottweilers located in Burlington, KY. My goal is to produce dogs with big beautiful heads, correct structure, sound minds, and breed type. Parents are health tested for Hips, elbows, heart, eyes and JLPP. Puppies are wormed, vaccinated and vet checked prior to going home at 8 wks of age.

Q. & A. with Christina

  • Why did you start breeding?

I first did a lot of research before I ever attempted. I started showing and training my dogs first. These days you have many so called breeders that jump in feet first and never know what they have bred. Others that import bred females pregnant and will tell you all about what this female produces but really have no clue.
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies sometimes are 5 generations of my dogs behind them. When you look at my pedigree's you will see vom Blaurasen throughout. Not many rottweiler breeders in the USA can say that. I know what my females produce. I base my breeding program on the bitches that I keep. I'm there for my puppy buyers. I have many repeat clients which have gotten 1-4 dogs from me over the years.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Very professional to work with. Not only did she breed a beautiful, healthy litter, but also is very good at sending information to help the new owner care for their new family member. I highly recommend.
