Meet the breeder

I'm Christina T., the breeder behind Von Edlenhaus Rottweilers located in Oklahoma City, OK. Our dogs are bred to the breed standard while still focusing primarily on health and temperament while not compromising intelligence, conformation, and athleticism so the dog can perform as needed yet still be a family companion.

Q. & A. with Christina

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I began searching for a high quality dog, I connected with a breeder who had a female puppy she hoped to see in the show ring. Taking a leap of faith, I welcomed her into my life and I’ve been passionate about the breed ever since. As she matured, I was continually impressed by her beauty and her exceptional temperament. My original intention was simply to have one litter to preserve her wonderful lineage. However, that experience sparked a deeper passion for responsible breeding. Today, I truly enjoy raising puppies that I know will grow into not only outstanding family companions, but dogs that are structurally sound, well-tempered, and true to the breed. It’s incredibly rewarding to see families matched with dogs that enrich their lives, it’s truly a win for everyone.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program incorporates the Puppy Culture early development program, which focuses on providing puppies with carefully timed enrichment, exposures, and problem-solving opportunities during critical developmental stages. These early experiences play an important role in shaping confident, resilient puppies. Through structured socialization, sound conditioning, and gentle developmental challenges, puppies learn how to adapt to new environments and situations. In our experience, puppies raised with early enrichment programs like Puppy Culture tend to develop stronger coping skills, greater confidence, and more stable temperaments compared to puppies who do not receive this type of early foundation. Raised in our home in Oklahoma City alongside our family, our puppies receive daily interaction and thoughtful handling from the very beginning. This early investment helps them grow into well-adjusted adult dogs that are not only wonderful family companions but also positive ambassadors for the breed.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
