Why did you start breeding?
I have been mentored by many breeders in the AKC Conformation Ring and after fifteen years in my breed (Rottweilers) and owning two male "Show Rottweilers" we decided in 2020 it was time to get our ‘Foundation Female’ to start our journey into breeding & preserving quality lines.

We are very selective on whom we breed with; Verifying each Sire we select has their Health Clearances & A Top Notch Disposition.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Maleah

Puppy prices include a $700 non-refundable deposit and between $2,800 - $3,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Show Quality, European Blood Lines, Sound Disposition, Tails & Dew claws docked.
Puppies will be microchipped prior to leaving. Deposit only hold spot on gender. Breeder will evaluate show potential puppies at 4, 6 & 8 weeks.”

Havana is a female Rottweiler over 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Maleah decided to make her part of their program. Maleah has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Dentition
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Juvenile Laryngeal Paralysis & Polyneuropathy (JLPP)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
