The decision for us to purchase a dog vs adopting/rescuing was a very hard decision, and one that we did not take lightly. We’re in CA, and I started calling local breeders, and the conversations felt yucky and did not make my decision any easier. I had never heard of Gooddog before, nor had I even thought about looking out of state for a dog. It was the almost instantaneous response I received from Greg that helped changed my mind on everything. Greg set up a phone call for the next day and not only did he answer my questions but he also had questions for me, which made me know he genuinely cares about his dogs and the homes they are going to. They aren’t kept in small cages in a backyard like some places I am sure I was calling unfortunately. They were being raised in a house on a large farm property full of love by him and his wife, and their family consisting of younger children, which was important to me with this specific breed of dog. Greg stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process, and sent me pictures and pupdates weekly! I have asked him a lot of questions along the way and even now, and he answers them without any hesitation, because in his words, “he loves talking puppies.” We have had our girl home for 2 weeks now, and I don’t think we’ve gone 2 days without talking. I feel like Greg and Randi will forever be apart of our family now. I am so thankful for them in this entire process, and especially helping us get our girl from Nebraska to CA. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Greg was very responsive and knowledgeable about the breeding of his dogs. He sent videos weekly on the new liter and kept us updated on their condition. He responded quickly on any questions we had about their daily food specifications, shots needed etc. Greg wants to breed good healthy German Rottweiler dogs.
