Q. & A. with Shana

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started breeding Goldens while I was a vet tech. I kept seeing all these Goldens come in with significant heath problems. So I started my search, for longevity in the lines and as much health testing in the parents I could find. With the goal to increase the health and longevity of Goldens. My jacks we strive for good temperament, good energy with family friendly temperaments.
  • What makes your program special?

I do extensive health and DNA testing on all my Goldens. We also do testing on my jack russells. We live on a small hobby ranch where my Goldens have the opportunity to experience different types of sounds, animals, ect. I want to improve the health of the golden retriever.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Russell Terrier puppies include white and tan and white and black. Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
