Meet the breeder

I'm Audrey H., the breeder behind Walnut Grove Cavaliers located in Woonsocket, RI. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Q. & A. with Audrey

  • Why did you start breeding?

I always loved dogs as a kid bringing home every stray I found. Later in life I got a golden retriever and a friend of mine had a male. That was back in 1993 and with our first litter of pups I was hooked. I prefer to be in the company of my furry friends then anything else in this world. I have dedicated my life to breed the healthiest and best tempered pups for family's to enjoy and love.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs live in the house with us and are very spoiled each and every day. We spare no expensive making sure they are all healthy and happy. With OFA testing and DNA testing being a priority to ensure our parents and puppies are healthy and will live a great long life.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cocker Spaniel puppies include brown and white and sable and white. Cavapoo puppies include red and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We give a food sample and a sample of our special vitamins that our puppies are on as soon as they can eat solid food to ensure great immunity to illness in the future. We give a blanket that has been in with the mom and pups to make his/her transition an easy one. We add a nice toy a ball and some treats to take home also. In the colder months we make sure your puppy has a nice warm coat to put on for the ride home. AKC registration includes your first vet visit free and 1 month of free health insurance. Deposit comes out of your total price and is taken when you meet your pup for the first time at around 2 weeks of age or older.”
