I'm Zach W., the breeder behind Weavers Kennels located in Comer, GA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on Conformation, Athleticism, and intelligence. We strive to provide Family with healthy loving pets.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up, I worked as a Kennel technician & Veterinary assistant where I learned many tasks and processes relevant to breeding. Learning about reproductive health and the preservation of pure breeds was an extremely rewarding process, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.What makes your program special?
Rather it be Annual wellness exams, Preventative medicine, or Reproductive Health, The dogs in my program receive the utmost care. Since I work for my Veterinarian, she is always available to offer her Guidance and wisdom to my program. Here we take Breed preservation seriously, and complete all Breed health tests recommended by AKC, BSS, and OFA.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
