I'm Patricia Z., the breeder behind Wild Azalea Yorkies on FB located in Brooksville, FL. My focus is on holistic raising and breeding healthy, happy naturally raised puppies. They are not just a dog, but a family member. I'm very selective on my puppies placement.
Q. & A. with Patricia
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with these beautiful tenacious bundles of joy when I adopted my 1st girl yorkie, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge, at the age of 16. She brought me such joy and I decided to start a breeding program using methods to encourage proper socialization and longer healthy lives. I take pride in raising all of my dogs holistically and only place puppies in natural rearing homes.
What makes your program special?
I genetically test pairing parents through Embark before breeding. My focus is on raising all of my pups and dogs naturally using a holistic approach. They are fed a species appropriate raw diet which I have found is best for over all health along with limited vaccines from my holistic vet. I also use natural flea and parasite control instead of chemicals which damages a dog's immune system.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
