Meet the breeder

I'm Joyce P., the breeder behind Wild Wishes Cavaliers located in Lawton, OK. Although we live in OK, many of our Cavaliers are enrolled at heart study at VATech Vet College. We drive twice a year for 3D doppler echos. Our Cavaliers live in our house and sleep with us are all part of our family.

Q. & A. with Joyce

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was going through a very difficult divorce and a friend gifted me with my first Cavalier, Ellie and she helped me more than words can explain. 40 years ago I raised and showed Shelties & I decided Cavaliers were a breed that would bring back into raising puppies. In addition, I truly believe the world is a better place with Cavaliers in it.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Cavaliers are truly part of our family; they have free run of our house. They are all housebroke and use our doggy door with access to our large fenced backyard. All of our puppies are raised with us and potty trained.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and white, tri-color, black and tan, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
