Meet the breeder

I'm Candace L., the breeder behind Wind Dial Farm located in Oswego, KS. Bred for health, temperament, and adherence to breed standard. We love seeing our babies become shining ambassadors of the community and in their loving companion homes.

Q. & A. with Candace

  • Why did you start breeding?

I am 3rd generation in purposefully bred, purebred dogs, so it wasn't a big leap to discover and establish my own breeding program in my breed of choice. I have spent my entire life immersed in the dog world. It was only natural for me to follow suit.
  • What makes your program special?

We try to bring together the many facets of raising quality purpose bred canines. We're not just a lot of talk we take action. Few go to the lengths we do to secure quality dogs, and invest in quality of care that goes into our dogs. Healthy both genetically and physically, combined with shining examples of the breed. The purpose of a purebred dog is predictability, and we try to provide that.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
