About Walter
Walter has sunning looks and a gorgeous coat. His blue eyes and intense gaze are the first thing people notice. Walter is dual registered with the ASDR and AKC. He loves to play in the snow and sprinkler, fetch and agility. Walter is intuitive and if someone isn't feeling well he will lay next to them. Walter loves to play and will do anything we ask, especially if there's a treat involved. He loves meeting new people and exploring new places.
Delta, mom
Toy Australian Shepherd
About Delta
Delta is home-grown Yampa Valley Aussie pup and dual registered with the ASDR and AKC. She is super smart, and a go with the flow kind of dog. She has earned Trick Dog Level I, ASDR Champion, and will earn BCAT at her next race. She is my soul dog. Delta is mellow, friendly and loves everyone. She travels everywhere with us. She smiles when she's happy so don't be alarmed when you meet her. Showing her teeth with excitement is quite an endearing trait!

Breeder-Reported Testing
Good level
Yampa Valley Aussies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Toy Australian Shepherds.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
