I'm Helen A., the breeder behind York Girl’s Pups located in Brooksville, FL. My puppies are born in my bedroom and loved on from day one. They move into the main room of our home at 2 weeks old to get used to the sights and sounds of our household.
We are dedicated to providing our families healthy and happy AKC registered pups. I am always here to answer questions!
Q. & A. with Helen
Why did you start breeding?
From being a toddler I loved all breeds of dogs and would spend hours looking at pictures of dogs and dreaming about the breeds I wanted :) I dreamed one day I would have my own little pack of Yorkies and eventually I got my first champion bred, AKC Yorkie girl Bronte who became the foundation of my breeding program.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family and our puppies are our babies. They are born in our bedroom and loved on from day one. At two weeks of age they move into the main room of the house where they hear and see everything that goes on in a busy household! I take time each day to cuddle each pup and expose them to new things. I want their transition to a new home to be an easy one. All our dogs are AKC registered.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and gold and blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Yorkshire Terrier
About Shuri
Shuri is as cute as a button! She has a short cobby body and short legs. She is an active little girl who loves playing in the yard and chasing squirrels while mom and dad do yard work. In the evening she loves relaxing and hanging out with the humans while they watch tv. She is a very attentive mommy who loves playing with her babies (once they’re old enough to run and play) but before they are able to do that she sticks close to the whelping pen and hangs out there.

About Trixie
Trixie was born here and loved on since day one! She loves to snuggle and be right by us on the sofa but loves to run and play too. Her favorite pastimes are playing with her Yorkie family and her toys, laying in her bed in the sun, and snuggling with her humans.
