Meet the breeder

I'm Erika S., the breeder behind Yorkie Prints located in Odenville, AL. Here at Yorkie Prints, we offer great quality Yorkies for families to enjoy for a long time. We focus on temperament and health before everything else and all of our puppies are either AKC, CKC, or GYBR registered, some dual registered. We devote our time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes. It would be our pleasure to introduce your family to your next Yorkie!

Q. & A. with Erika

  • Why did you start breeding?

We wanted to put our passion for Yorkies to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine.
  • What makes your program special?

At Yorkie Prints, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health and temperament, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are also constantly improving our breeding program and work closely within the Yorkshire Terrier community to do so. We only breed standard size yorkies, from 4 to 7 pounds. However, we do not guarantee sizes and weights due to how genetics factor into the growth of all dogs. So you may have a smaller 4 pound baby and then you may end up with an 8 pounder. They grow how they are meant to. WE DO NOT BREED "TEACUPS" so please look elsewhere if that's what you're looking for.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver, chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, parti, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
