Christine has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Christine partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“Matching Policy We take great care in choosing the right home for each of our puppies. Potential families are screened to make sure they understand the Shiba Inu breed, their unique personalities, and the commitment involved in bringing a puppy home. We look for loving, responsible homes where our puppies will truly become part of the family. Once approved, families are matched based on availability and what we feel will be the best fit for both the puppy and their new family. We are always happy to answer questions and want our puppy families to feel comfortable staying in touch with us throughout their puppy's life. ❤️🐾”

“Includes full AKC registration, vet exam, vaccines, deworming, microchip, health guarantee, starter kit, champion bloodlines, and socialization in a loving, kid-filled, smoke-free home. All puppies require a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. This goes toward the final price and ensures serious, committed homes ready to join the Yoru’s Dojo Legacy family.”

Bushido is officially over a year old now! 🥹❤️ This boy will always hold such a special place in our hearts. My son Z was 9 when Yoru gave birth to him, and he was right there with me when Bushido came into the world. It was such a special moment for the two of us, and we both formed a bond with him from the very beginning. ❤️ Seeing him now, all grown up, happy, healthy, and so loved by his family makes my heart so happy. I seriously can’t believe it’s already been over a year! 🥰 We were so close to keeping him, so i cant explain the joy I feel getting an update today on this handsome fella

Christine S.
🥹❤️ Yuki (formerly Maple) is absolutely thriving with her family! She is playful, curious, cuddly and loves keeping watch for every bug and bird she can find. 😂 She loves sleepy morning cuddles, watching people from the window, trips to the dog park and has even become a little local celebrity with the neighbors! 🥰 Nothing makes us happier than seeing our babies so loved and living their best lives. 🐾❤️

Sweet Macy, formerly Willow, is doing absolutely amazing with her family in Massachusetts! 🥰 She’s still the same little social butterfly she was when she was here with us and loves meeting new people and dogs everywhere she goes. Her family says they’re constantly told they’ve never met a Shiba as friendly as she is! ❤️ Macy is full of personality, has the most expressive little face, and keeps her family laughing with her playful antics. She goes on plenty of adventures and is clearly living her very best, spoiled life. 🐾🥹 We absolutely love getting updates like these and watching our babies grow up so happy and loved!

Tomo (formerly Crimson) ❤️ Tomo is officially 7 months old and absolutely thriving with his family! This little country-born Shiba has become quite the DC city boy and neighborhood celebrity. 😂 He loves meeting people and dogs, exploring the city, farmers markets, restaurant patios, and adventures with his family. He’s graduated puppy kindergarten, loves puzzle toys, trails and parks, and has even become quite the traveler. He recently handled a 14-hour road trip to Wisconsin like a champ, where he went kayaking, boating and enjoyed life at the lake. 🛶🐾 Tomo is smart, social, mischievous and wants to be included in everything his family does. He’s now 18.6 lbs and growing into such a handsome boy. We absolutely love receiving updates and seeing how loved, confident and happy he is. ❤️

All of our puppies have officially been reserved 🤎🐾 We are so incredibly grateful for each family who has chosen to welcome one of our babies into their home. Watching these pups grow, develop their personalities, and then match with families who have truly prepared and done their research is the most rewarding part of what we do. As a small, home-based breeder, we pour our hearts into raising confident, well-socialized Shibas from day one. Knowing they’re heading into loving homes makes every sleepless night worth it. At this time, we do not have any available puppies. Our next planned litter will not be for about a year, as we prioritize the health and wellbeing of our girls. If you’d like to stay in touch for future updates, feel free to follow along — we love keeping our extended Yoru’s Dojo Legacy family connected 🤍 Thank you for supporting our program and for trusting us with such an important decision. 🐕

Our sweet Crimson ❤️🐾 He is our only boy in this litter and the last little one still looking for his forever home. Crimson is full of personality. He is playful, full of energy, and always ready for the next adventure. He loves to bounce around, explore, and then immediately melt when you scoop him up. He truly loves to be loved on and soaks up every bit of attention. Being the only boy, he has definitely learned how to keep up, and he does it with confidence and charm. He has that fun spirited Shiba spark but still settles in for cuddles when he is done playing. If you are looking for a happy, affectionate, lively little guy to grow with your family, Crimson is your boy 🤎🐾

Our sweet babies will be 5 weeks old tomorrow, and their personalities are really starting to shine! They are doing AMAZING with weaning and are eating puppy food like pros. No hesitation at all. They’ve also basically started potty training themselves. Shibas are seriously so smart… almost cat-like when it comes to being clean. They naturally don’t want to soil where they sleep, and they’re already choosing their potty area. I’m always so impressed with how quickly they catch on. They are super playful now and love exploring, wrestling, and carrying their little toys around. Maple is still our biggest cuddle bug. She will melt right into you and soak up every bit of love. Crimson is our most active boy. He rarely stops playing and always seems ready for the next adventure. Willow loves attention from her siblings and enjoys being right in the middle of everything. Ember continues to show how independent she is. She’s confident, observant, and perfectly content doing her own thing. This is such a fun stage watching them grow and develop more each day. 💛

About Yoru
Yoru is our calm, wise queen of the pack. At 4 years old, she brings a quiet confidence and nurturing presence to our home. Unlike Spike’s energetic flair, Yoru is more reserved and observant—always aware, always composed. She’s incredibly loyal, gentle with our kids, and has the kind of soulful eyes that seem to know exactly what’s going on. With champion bloodlines and classic Shiba elegance, Yoru leads with grace, strength, and a little bit of that mysterious Shiba magic.

Shiba Inu
About Spike
Spike is our handsome little heartbreaker—equal parts drama king, watchdog, and house comedian. This boy loves belly rubs and acts like he owns the couch (and everyone on it). His favorite move? Perching on high ground like a cat to survey his kingdom with maximum side-eye. Spike brings the perfect mix of Shiba independence, playful energy, and loyal heart to our home—and now, to his puppies.

Macy has brought so much sweetness, joy, and personality into our home that it is hard to imagine our lives without her. And when we think about the wonderful little dog she is becoming, we know her story began with Christine and the loving, healthy start she gave her. From our very first conversations, it was clear that Christine brings much more to breeding Shiba Inus than technical knowledge. She brings care, judgment, attentiveness, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to bring healthy, happy puppies into the world. Her background as a nurse seems very much a part of that. She is thoughtful about health and development, but just as importantly, she has the temperament and heart for this work. Throughout the entire process, Christine was remarkably responsive, knowledgeable, and communicative. I never had that uneasy feeling of wondering what was happening or whether I had made the right decision. In a world where prospective puppy owners have to be very careful about whom they trust, that peace of mind meant a great deal to us. Bringing home a Shiba Inu is a major commitment, and we wanted to know that our puppy had been given the healthiest and most loving start possible. Macy clearly had that start. Macy came to us sweet, bright, curious, confident, and beautifully socialized. And I think much of that comes from the way Christine raises her puppies; not in isolation, but as part of a real family and a loving home. Christine's children and family are part of the puppies' early world, so they grow up experiencing people, affection, activity, and everyday family life. By the time Macy came home to us (at 10 weeks), she already seemed to understand that people were safe and that she belonged among them. Now, watching Macy grow into this incredibly smart, affectionate, funny little Shiba with the loveliest personality, I often think about how much those first weeks of life matter. You cannot separate the dog she is becoming from the care she received at the very beginning. We will always be grateful to Christine for that and, most of all, for bringing Macy into the world and into our lives. She didn't simply breed us a beautiful Shiba Inu. She gave our little dog an extraordinary beginning, and gave us a puppy we absolutely love and adore.

Christine was very responsive, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions with the most care so we were fully prepared when we took Kaida home. Not only was Christine so sweet and helpful, she also provides the pups with an amazing environment, starting them with socialization with her family and involving them in leash and potty training. I was so impressed with her level of care and if I can somehow convince my husband to let us get a second Shiba in the house one day, Christine will be the first one I reach out to. For anyone who is looking to have a Shiba, I would highly recommend Yoru's Dojo Legacy!

My experience with Christine was absolutely amazing. What stood out to me most was her love and care for her dogs and puppies. It’s clear they are raised with attention and affection. We brought home a healthy, happy puppy who was already well-socialized for her age. Christine answered all of my questions thoroughly and provided helpful recommendations on feeding our little girl, including recipes and tips for preparing healthy homemade meals. Since we live on the West Coast, we were unsure about the best way to transport the puppy. We decided on air travel, and Christine handled everything — researching the process, preparing all the necessary documents, and making sure our puppy traveled safely. She arrived without any issues, in a carrier stocked with food and toys. The entire delivery process was smooth and stress-free. It’s been five months since we welcomed her home, and Christine still checks in occasionally to see how she’s doing. I send photos and updates, and it truly feels like we’re part of a wonderful family of breeders who genuinely love and understand what they do. I highly recommend Christine to anyone looking to welcome a furry friend like a Shiba Inu into their home.
