I'm Karen L., the breeder behind Achin Acres Cattle dogs located in Yermo, CA. At Achin Acres we breed for stability in health, temperament, and conformation. Our dogs are raised on our farm and live as part of the family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have devoted much of our lives to the care of animals. We pour our heart into the care of our dogs and horses and love sharing them with others. There is no better feeling than matching a pup with their perfect new parents!
  • What makes your program special?

    We are committed to producing puppies that are healthy, structurally sound, and excellent companions. Our breeding line comes from a champion pedigree. Our dogs are also all health tested and have wonderful temperaments.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes, worming, vaccinations, first shots, microchipped, Baer tested, limited AKC registration. Once your puppy is selected the deposit becomes non-refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Patellar Luxation
