I'm Cathryn W., the breeder behind Aleman Euro Boxers (Veteran owned) located in Springfield, LA. We specialize in breeding AKC health tested 100% European Boxers. All our dogs are European imports or come from imports. All of our dogs are DM clear. We only breed dogs that pass heart and hip clearances.

Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to do this since I owned my first purebred dog. I did a lot of research, went to conformation shows, and got lots of guidance from very knowledgeable breeders and handlers
What makes your program special?
We strive to keep and better our dogs' qualities according to euro boxer standard. All our dogs are DM clear and we test our dogs for heart and hip abnormalities . We only breed dogs that pass US Boxer health standards.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Cathryn

Cathryn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the 1 year health guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, microchip, puppy socialization and life long support. Deposit is required to join our waiting list. We ask for a non refundable deposit for a puppy. We have a rolling wait list. We honor the order in which the deposits were received and will contact the buyers in order of the wait list. The buyer understands this is not pick order in the litter. We assign the puppies to best match to fit your lifestyle. We will discuss with the puppy owners who would be the best match for the family.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Catheryn was very attentive since day one. We were able to FaceTime her, ask various questions, & get a lot of great tips. Since we first spoke, we could tell how passionate and caring she was for her puppies. It was an interview process in which plenty of questions were asked & I wouldn’t have asked for anything less. I appreciated the seriousness she took on deciding who can get her puppies it made us feel more confident on our decision. We drove to LA, to pick up the puppies. It was a great experience her whole family was very polite & welcoming. We met herself, husband, daughters, & son. We got to meet the parents of the puppies too. Catheryn made sure we had all the supplies for the dog to have a safe drive home & asked for updates which was nice. She responds very quick, all the paperwork is very organized and in a folder, & has a very well straight to the point contract. (I’d suggest reading it before you travel to pick up dog-just so everyone is on the same page). Again, great experience overall, very trustworthy, and very very knowledgeable about the boxer breed. She is also affiliated in the boxer communities. We’re glad we ran into her account. Our dog is a beautiful scary cat, healthy cuddle lay dog & we absolutely love him.

The experience was wonderful. After connecting with Ms. Aleman I decided on which puppy I wanted and the process started. She was transparent with all my questions and also give me many tips on how to take care of my new boxer puppy. My puppy came with all her paperwork, was chipped, and also had her first round of shots. Ms. Aleman is very knowledgeable in what she does and I recommend her to anyone looking for boxer puppies.

She was extremely informative and kept in touch during the pregnancy. The transition of bringing our sweet puppy home was very smooth and an extremely easy process. She told us what kind of dog food she fed him and what kind of toys were good for him to play with as a puppy. They were very professional and offered to help in anyway if I ever had any questions. I highly recommend them and will for sure use them again in the future. Our puppy is such a sweet dog, plays great with kids, and got along amazing with my other boxer. Highly recommended!!
