I'm Jami A., the breeder behind Andrus Family Boxers located in Caspian, MI. Our Boxer pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We work hard to breed exemplary Boxers that are well taken care of from day one and are prepared to excel in loving and caring homes. We love our dogs and puppies, and we strive to place each pup in a home suited to their temperament and ability. Raised with our children and rescue cats.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    A lady I bought my boy chance (white) boxer from had passed away and I had got her girl Uma from her son and one of her friends mentioned it and we had a litter using her stud! Was a crazy turn of events! But I’m so blessed it all fell into my lap!

  • What makes your program special?

    I think we do it out of so much love! Our children help with all of it with us, we are teaching them huge lessons of compassion and nurturing and taking care of these beautiful animals the best way possible.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jami

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jami partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first vaccinination, wormed, tails docked and dew claws removed. Puppy care package. Very socialized with children other dogs and cats. Puppies are all the same price. If something came up and it wasn’t the right time and you wanted to wait till a different litter that would be ok for deposit as well.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
