We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We’re a small-scale program with a big love of Dachshunds! Our dogs are our passion, and we enjoy spreading the love of Dachshunds with other families and individuals.

    Our puppies include piebald, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mary Lou

Mary Lou has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Mary Lou partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We start in home visits/ FaceTime calls and matching puppies to families once they are around 2-3 weeks old and their eyes open. Deposit is due once puppy is reserved.”

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I feel incredibly fortunate that a simple Google search for dachshund puppies led me to Good Dog and ultimately to Mary Lou. Bringing home our family’s first pet was a huge decision, and although I had done my research, I still felt completely out of my element and had SO many questions. From the very beginning, Mary Lou was incredibly kind, patient, responsive, and reassuring. Her profile immediately stood out to me, especially the photos of her dogs. I just had a gut feeling that they were truly loved family pets, and when we visited her home, that feeling was confirmed. We were able to meet our puppy’s parents, see how loved and well cared for her dogs are, and immediately felt comfortable. Mary Lou patiently answered all of my questions and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. She was so accommodating throughout the entire process, and when we picked up our little guy she had prepared the sweetest care package with a blanket, toy, extra food, and an adorable dachshund tote bag. Even after bringing him home, she checked in on us and has continued to quickly answer any questions I have. Anytime something came up throughout the process, Mary Lou was on top of it and kept me informed. The entire experience just felt right from beginning to end. Mary Lou is genuine, caring, and clearly loves her dogs. As a first-time pet owner, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better person to help us bring sweet Willie into our family. We may have found Mary Lou by chance this time, but if Willie ever needs a sibling, I know exactly where I’ll be going. ❤️.

    We brought Monty into our home 6 days ago. What a wonderful, smart & energetic puppy he is! It was a pleasure working with Mary Lou - we met Monty & Mary Lou at her home in NJ 3 weeks before bringing Monty to our home. It was a very long 3 weeks waiting to pick him up, but Mary Lou supplied us with pictures, vet updates and his progress. He has adapted to our family quickly thanks to Mary Lou preparing him to leave. He is a joy!!!

    Mary Lou is the best! She makes the entire process seamless. Very responsive, opening to answering many questions, and kept me updated with many pictures before pick up.
