I'm Mary Lou B., the breeder behind Bergamo’s Dachshunds located in New Jersey. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We’re a small-scale program with a big love of Dachshunds! Our dogs are our passion, and we enjoy spreading the love of Dachshunds with other families and individuals.

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Mary Lou

Mary Lou has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Mary Lou partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We start in home visits/ FaceTime calls and matching puppies to families once they are around 2-3 weeks old and their eyes open. Deposit is due once puppy is reserved.”

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
