I'm Greg S., the breeder behind BOI Gulf Coast Labradors located in Santa Fe, TX. We’ve been breeding English Labradors for 15 years. We breed to better the breed and we love what we do. Each pup is hand raised. We have top quality pedigrees, looks, and temperament. I carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible.
Q. & A. with Greg
Why did you start breeding?
We purchased an English Lab 15 years ago. She came from champion lines and one of the best breeders in the country. She is the best dog I have owned and I wanted to have a puppy from her. I looked into her pedigree and figured out I had something incredible.
What makes your program special?
We have some of the best bloodlines in the country. We raise our pups in a whelping house that has A/C and heat. We send our dogs off to training for field competitions. We title our dogs in hunt tests. We try to find the best males possible to breed to. Our customers are screened before purchase. We personally deliver our pups to their new homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
