Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4I wanted to get a Boxer dog for a specific reason. I was looking for a certain trait in my puppy for training it to be a guide dog. I contacted several Boxer breeders to ask pointed questions. Most of them didn’t respond to my inquiries. The few who did, answered without really considering their replies. But then I found Christina Watson from Bolivar Boxers, who provided me with thorough and thoughtful answers. She even selected a puppy that she believed had the emotional traits I was after. We began chatting over email and then moved to phone calls. She was really patient and polite with all my many questions and worries. After getting all the information I needed, I decided to go ahead and buy a puppy through Good Dog and Bolivar Boxers. Christina was a joy throughout the entire process. She even customized her contract to include the specifics I required. I’ve never bought a puppy online before. It felt a bit daunting since I wasn’t sure what to expect. But working with Christina and Bolivar Boxers turned out to be an amazing experience. The best part is that I feel like I’ve made a lifelong friend in Christina. I absolutely adore my 13-week-old puppy. She’s healthy, happy, and truly the apple of my eye!

This was an amazing experience. Christina helped to pair us with a dog that was perfect for our family. She was responsive and honest with puppy personalities. He came already knowing sit. My vet said he is perfect and healthy.
