I'm Bonnie C., the breeder behind Bonnie Clifton located in Long Beach, MS. I’m a small breeder in South Mississippi I don’t ship but I do travel a lot in the Midwest and can meet. I'm a small, in-home breeding program where I prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that I can. I cherish all of my animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Shih Tzu with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding shortly after I became disabled in 1997. I was getting depressed home all the time and my husband suggested I try something that would keep my company so we got our first Shih tzu. I loved the breed and I enjoy the smiles it puts on my buyers faces the first time they see there puppy in person.What makes your program special?
I do everything in my home and the puppies have free run of my home and are accustomed to many everyday household noises and children when they leave us. They come pre spoiled.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ruby is my personal companion and baby can you say spoiled that is my Ruby! She is very in tune to my needs and the needs of her babies. I kept them close to me so Ruby didn’t feel conflicted when the pups needed her and her need to be with me. She loved the co sleeper set up I used so I could keep one hand with her while I slept.
