I'm Cristi K., the breeder behind Boxkarr Boxers located in Panama City Beach, FL. We breed AKC Boxers for health, conformation, temperament and of course because we love this breed. We don't condone puppy mills or frivolous breeding's. Our dogs are part of our family and live with us in our home. We are not a kennel and do not breed if they have any health problems. We test for ARVC (Arrhythmic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy) and D-M (Degenerative Myopethy). We also perform a 24 hour holter test, which is an EKG of the heart to help diagnose specific forms of heart disease and abnormal heart rythms. If they do not pass this test and show normal heart rythms, they are not used in our breeding program.

Why did you start breeding?
We started raising boxers in 2003. We fell so hard for their individual personalities and their expressiveness. The hearts that boxers have are just so amazing. We hope that you fall in love with them as much as we have!What makes your program special?
Our boxers are in our home and have interaction every day, several times per day with their humans and other animals. We include our boxers as family members, they just are a little furry, walk on all fours, and love us unconditionally. However, occasionally they do talk back and do give lots of lip, love, and slobber.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
"The price includes a 2 year health guarantee, AKC Registration (limited or full), microchip, health certificate, full set of shots at 8 weeks, an additional parvo shot at 5 weeks and puppy care package. $300 deposit is nonrefundable. If you cancel on a current puppy, you may put towards a puppy in the future. We will allow it once. Anymore cancelations will forfeit deposit."

Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

They are their babies and they devote such love and dedication to each pup. We are blessed to have found them on Good Dog. Echo (our baby) is bright, intelligent, and a beautiful example of the boxer breed. I was able to teach him to sit on the second day we brought him home.
