Meet the breeder

I'm Charlotte D., the breeder behind Cadogans Boxers located in Clinton, IA. For the past 20 years I have been dedicated to breeding quality, health tested boxers that are carefully raised inside, underfoot with a solid foundation to prepare them for life. My dogs are a reflection of over two decades of my investment - generations of excellent health testing, generations of beautiful dogs, and most importantly generations of quality temperaments. We are most proud of our 12+ year membership with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and our multiple generations of therapy dogs - sharing smiles and joy one therapy dog visit at a time.

Q. & A. with Charlotte

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding is both my way of giving back and sharing my beautiful dogs with the world, but also my way of leaving a legacy for future generations to enjoy beautiful, healthy boxers.
  • What makes your program special?

After so many years in boxers and so many generations with my bloodlines, there is very little I have not seen, experienced, or been involved with in one way or another. I pride myself on a reputation of honesty and integrity in every aspect of my life. My dogs are a reflection of over a decade of my investment - generations of excellent health testing, generations of beautiful dogs, and most importantly generations of quality temperaments - as demonstrated by my generations of CGC and therapy dog titles. I prefer to let my dogs speak for themselves - all our information, titles, and health tests are public record and available for review.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
