Meet the breeder

I'm Frances J., the breeder behind Captivating Kennel located in Marion, NC. Our puppies come from outstanding lineages from around the world. We are a small hobbie kennel in the foothills of Western North Carolina in Marion, NC (about 30 minutes east of Asheville, NC). My husband and I have a strong love for this breed. They are pre-loved, pre-spoiled and well socialized. We are small business owners by trade, and boxer lovers at heart.

Q. & A. with Frances

  • Why did you start breeding?

After several years of research we purchased “Prinzessin “Bella” Vom Haus Tschiderer,” the daughter of “Roman Vom Haus Tschiderer” X “Rhea Vom Haus Tschiderer.” She is a reverse sealed brindle with white markings, beautiful head shape, nice tight feet, an outstanding straight bite & the perfect temperament. Her perfect conformation, temperament, and outstanding lineage, has made her a treasure.
  • What makes your program special?

After looking for months, we finally found the perfect mate for Bella. “Prinz Ah-Lee Vom Pride of Bama.” He is a gorgeous flashy, red fawn with a beautiful head and nicely turned up snub nose and all the funny, eccentric typical “boxer” characteristics that we all have grown to love and adore. He is the son of “Sat’elit Yoki Maximus” X “Mar’Russia Umaya Zareena G.” Both imports from Russia.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had a great experience getting a puppy from Captivating Kennels. Frances was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the breed. She provided ample information about the puppies' lineage, health checks, and care requirements. During the visit, Frances took the time to answer all of our questions. She also encouraged us to reach out with any questions as our puppy settles in. Overall, it was a positive and smooth experience, and we’re thrilled with my new, healthy, and happy puppy!
