I'm Neva L., the breeder behind Casa Del Legado located in Robertsdale, AL. With temperament and health being our top priority, we focus firstly on breeding for ourselves and bettering the breed. Our pups are evaluated at 7 weeks and matched with families based on needs and lifestyle!

Why did you start breeding?
I have grown up with dogs my entire life but the dog that peaked my interest in breeding was my English Bulldog, while I’ve never bred her I have spent the last 12 years learning all I can about breeding. We now participate in AKC performance events and enjoy the bonding with our dogs! We hope to continue to produce excellent working and performance dogs!What makes your program special?
We follow puppy culture and provide our puppies with ENS. Our puppies are evaluated at 7 weeks and placed with families based on needs and lifestyle, our pups are not placed based on color or pattern. Again, we breed for ourselves first and believe placing a personality appropriate dog with a specific family. Our pups are available to go to new homes at 10 weeks. We also plan to preform more extensive health testing.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Sadie
Sadie is a female Boxer. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Neva decided to make her part of their program. Neva has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
