I'm Brenda S., the breeder behind Castle Hills Labradors located in Grand Saline, TX. We invest so much effort into raising each litter to help prepare our puppies for a lifetime of love with their new families. As breeders, we are stewards of the future of our breed, so we are careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization. Holding ourselves to high standards is paramount to the well-being of our dogs and to the integrity of our program. We look forward to connecting with you!

Getting a puppy from Brenda
Brenda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 deposit and between $1,550 - $2,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Depending on stud fees, whelp issues, i.e. C-section and number of puppies produced, price will vary and subject to change. $250.00 Deposit is required to reserve your puppy, this deposit is non-refundable BUT transferable to a puppy from my NEXT litter if on the slim occasion seller for any reason of unforeseen circumstances cannot produce the pup on pick up day or if buyer for unforeseen circumstances is unable to receive said pup at pup pick up day. This transfer of deposit will only apply once otherwise it is forfeited.”

Brenda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Program update on 29 May •…Pups are 6 weeks!!! Veterinary visit today, first round vaccinations and health exam. They all did amazing! Lots of laughs and comments on cuteness from staff and those in waiting area 🥰. It was a big day for them and the weather really heated up outside. Pups couldn’t wait to have some cool water (and AC) when they got home. 😊 success!

Program update on 14 May •…Pups are doing amazing! Getting big, playing and eating well! They are experiencing new things every day, whelping box removed so more room to move around. They are being let out to explore the house and some even ventured out the back door where they all will eventually go next week to be outside! They are adorable little babies.

Baller is a tall, handsome, blonde boy who loves to protect but also has a sweet side for lots of affection for chest rubs and will follow you around everywhere. He is a loving sweet boy who carefully studies human behavior and is careful to obey commands.

Bubba is a perfectly sized Black Labrador with strong retrieving instincts naturally. He has a thick otter tail with a gorgeous shiny thick coat to match. Bubba is extremely well behaved and intelligent! He is loving kind to all and fun! Loves to play and learn! He is friends with all his canine crew and gets along well with them and any folks he meets. All around excellent!

About Kichi
Kichi is imported from Europe (Lithuania) I have a friend who breeds beautiful champion Labradors there and I waited a couple years for her! She traveled all the way to Dallas where I picked her up at the airport customs. She is amazing BUT I knew she would be! Her coat is so unique with its "toasted almond" look. Kichi blended in so well with all the Castle Hills Labradors crew! Kichi is a caring well behaved girl, she if likened to a person is one of those who would come up and say hello how are you and how are you again and keep watching you lol! Very loving girl with quick smarts and intuition. I am very pleased and impressed with her easy to get along with and loving spirit.

About RUBY
Ruby is very intelligent with a strong sense of intuition and can hold her demeanor against all odds. Ruby gets along with everyone because she is non fearful and on walks she is not afraid of strangers or unfamiliar dogs...she minds her own business and that seems to be why she never gets in trouble or causes any friction with humans or dogs. Ruby is like no other Labrador I have owned, she is so self assured and quietly in control. Ruby is also an amazing momma dog, she will protect her pups to the end which justifies her innate dog instincts. I am very proud to have Ruby and she's special in so many ways, she has been a blessing time after time!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We purchased Brook two weeks ago and she is the most precious puppy.
