I'm Emily T., the breeder behind Cheaha Cockers located in Munford, AL. My babies are AKC registered, parents embark health tested. They have exams shots deworming before going to their FurEver homes. I can do FaceTime as well for families. I’m willing to travel 3.5 hr no charge. Any further there’s a fee.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for the American cocker spaniel got me into breeding and breed for the proper head, war, coat.What makes your program special?
I aim for the perfect cocker and making sure your baby is socialized before going to their forever homes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan, buff and white, buff, brown roan and tan, brown and tan, brown, black, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“1200 for pet home and 1900 for breeding rights. Deposit is a promise to hold your baby and for you to keep your word to ensure my baby has a home to go to at the of delivery.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
