I'm Rick M., the breeder behind Classic K9’s Aussies & Doodles located in Prague, OK. We are strong advocates of proper breeding practices and run our program accordingly. Our program is focused on breeding Miniature Australian Shepherd and Miniature and Standard Aussiedoodles that are healthy, well-structured, and have outstanding temperaments. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home! Our puppies will be well socialized with humans, other dogs and other animals.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I have had dogs all my life as faithful companions while I worked my horse business. They have always brought me so much joy and fulfillment that I decided to raise intelligent, loyal companions for other people to love and enjoy.

  • What makes your program special?

    I take pride in raising beautiful, intelligent dogs with excellent temperaments from health tested parents. I own a beautiful 20 acre ranch that allows my dogs plenty of room to play and exercise. I welcome everyone to come see my ranch but be prepared for lots of kisses and love from all my dogs. My dogs are my family and each one is loved dearly.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rick

Rick has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rick partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $2,050 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Price includes health guarantee, deworming, heart worm preventative, microchip, first appropriate shots, health exam and puppy package that includes puppy food, bowl, treats, blanket, toys, puppy pads and all paperwork and medical records. Deposit is non refundable. However, If you don’t find a pup in the litter you have a deposit on you are welcome to transfer the deposit to a different litter."

Rick may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We had a great experience with Rick and our puppy! He gave lots of great information about the breed from the beginning and did so much to care for the litter before they were released. Our puppy transitioned so much easier because of his attention to the puppies and everything he did to get them ready for their forever homes. He sent weekly videos of the litter and updates to let us know how vet visits went and how he was growing. After the first night with our puppy at home he checked up to make sure it went well and then did a follow up a week later! We couldn’t be happier with our puppy and owe it all to the amazing care Rick gave him for his first 8 weeks! Highly recommend!!

    Rick was an amazing person to work with and highly recommend to anyone thinking about adopting. He was very knowledgable about Nyla, giving me all up to date paperwork. You can truly tell he cares about his dogs, not only was he quick to respond when reaching out about adoption. He was still very reachable after adoption for questions, along with checking up on her after adoption to make sure the adjustment was going well.
