About Elroy
Health Clearances: OFA HIPS - Good OFA Elbows - Normal OFA Eyes - Normal Centronuclear Myopathy - Normal (clear) Copper Toxicosis (Labrador Retriever Type) - Normal (clear) Exercise-Induced Collapse - Normal (clear) Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration - Normal (clear) Skeletal Dysplasia 2 - Normal (clear) Achievements: Elroy is a spectacular pheasant and duck hunting companion. Him and I work as guides at local hunt preserves to retrieve hunters birds. He also achieved his Canine Good Citizen title for his wonderful obedience and biddability. Personality: I like to call Elroy my "California Surfer dude" because when he isn't working he is the most easygoing, chill companion who is always up for anything. While he is always up for an adventure whether it be a camping trip, an outing in the city, a day at the brewery, hiking, kayaking, or helping me at work with clients, he is always more than happy to curl up on the couch with me for days on end if I so wish. He is the perfect example of a dog who is well-rounded, confident, and sound of mind. Elroy had been my commuting buddy on the subways of NYC and was unphased by the wild stimuli around us, this guy's confidence and stability is quite impressive. When I go kayaking, he will relax in the seat behind me for hours while we enjoy peace and quiet. He can do it all. I have owned many dogs, but Elroy is extraordinary.

About Alaska
Health Clearances: OFA Hips: Excellent OFA Elbows: Normal OFA Eyes: Normal Centronuclear Myopathy - Normal (clear) Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (Labrador Retriever Type) - Normal (clear) Exercise-Induced Collapse - Normal (clear) Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis - Normal (clear) Macular Corneal Dystrophy (Labrador Retriever Type) - Normal (clear) Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Golden Retriever 2 - Normal (clear) Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration -Normal (clear) Retinal Dysplasia/Oculoskeletal Dysplasia 1 - Normal (clear) Skeletal Dysplasia 2 - Carrier (She isn't positive, just a carrier, meaning she can only be bred to males who are clear of SD2) Stargardt Disease - Normal (clear) Achievements: Alaska achieved her AKC Junior Hunt title going 4/4, passing each test she took. Alaska is a certified Narcotics K9. Not only is she nationally certified to do so through the National Narcotics Detector Dog Association, but she went above and beyond and took the Department of Defense Narcotics K9 certification and passed with flying colors. As a team, she and I have worked at sporting events and at West Point Military Academy as a K9 team. Personality: While Alaska is extremely biddable, eager to learn, and would classify as a high-drive dog, she has a wonderful "off-switch" at home. She is the biggest cuddle bug and extremely relaxed whenever we are at home alone or have company over. She is friendly to all people and dogs. I have a dog training company and I often use her as a way to help rehabilitate very fearful or aggressive dogs because she sets such a wonderful example for them. Her favorite activity is fetch and she will play with you forever if you let her. She learns new tasks very quickly and is eager to please her owner. She is confident, sweet and so fun.
