I'm Anita E., the breeder behind Cornerstone kennels located in Troup, TX. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be! Father is genetically tested and OFA. Although bred to be exceptional hunting dogs, they have gone on to do hunt test, Doc Diving, Service Dog, and Sent Detection. Pick up puppy at 8 weeks April 21 approximately.

    This was my husband’s dream of raising the Smartest and healthiest Gun Dogs. And now they have proven to be Service Dogs and Doc Divers and Great family pets as well as Hunting Dog Dogs
  • What makes your program special?

    The love and affection these puppies get from the time they are born socialization with other dogs as well and swimming .
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Anita

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and $850 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Parent health testing

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
