Meet the breeder

I'm Traci T., the breeder behind Country Goldens and Mountain Top Cavaliers located in Graysville, TN. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and handled daily. Parents are OFA certified for breeding. Puppies are vet checked and vaccinated at 7 weeks of age. Our puppies are all sold with a ONE YEAR health guarantee, to pet homes only, with a spay/neuter agreement.

Q. & A. with Traci

  • Why did you start breeding?

It was just something that I always wanted to do... we started with Golden Retrievers and began working with Service Dog organizations, and once we established a reputation for excellent service animals we added the Cavaliers for clients looking for a smaller more compact dog for emotional support, and therapy animals. Goldens and Cavies are both excellent breeds for Service, Therapy and ES.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised inside of our home and handled daily. We do neurological stimulation on our pups from day3-16. We have an active household and puppies are exposed to and desensitized to many things early on, providing our buyers with confident, well-socialized pups.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Traci was so responsive and helpful about the breed! This is my first CKCS, so I had lots of questions. It was clear she loves her dogs and puppies and takes great care of them. Gus has been the best addition to our family! I’m so glad I found him easily on GoodDog which made me feel comfortable with the whole process, knowing that we both had been vetted.

Traci was great to work with. My husband and I took extra time to make our decision & thankfully the pup we wanted was still available! We adopted "Blaze" but we call him Charlie! It's been 2 weeks & Charlie is a ball of energy! We can see his personality, hes no longer skiddish & is eating & drinking well. He is working on being housebroken, but we're not there yet! He is my shadow & a wonderful cuddle buddy! We fell in love before we left Traci's! He's a beautiful addition to our family.

Traci was incredibly responsive from day one, called us immediately to give us all kinds of information and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. We can definitely see how much love she puts into getting these puppies ready for the world. Very grateful to have worked with Traci and Country Goldens!

Traci was great to work with and very knowledgeable about this breed and the puppy stage. My family and I were able to meet and choose from 2 litter mates and also met both parents on site. She had extensive health records on both parents which is why I chose to work with her. We feel confident we received a healthy high quality dog.
