I'm Joshua D., the breeder behind D&K Farms located in Vinita, OK. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.
Q. & A. with Joshua
Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding out of necessity. We own and operate a large animal farm and have searched and searched for the perfect companion/working animals that are smart enough to learn quickly but calm enough to be family dogs. We couldn’t be more excited to share our amazing animals with the world.
What makes your program special?
We look for only the best traits. We hand pick our sires/dams and do not breed until they are at least three years of age and have proven their personalities. This also helps to eliminate and genetic imperfections so that we do not pass those along.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, black phantom, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
